Stills photography
I enjoy documenting the world around me. Sometimes people in funny costumes like to record and take pictures of me as well. I usually have a smile on my face though and think it's a shame that for them, image-making is an altogether more sinister pursuit.
Usually my photography is for poster designs or DVD sleeves but I also occassionally open my studio during events such as Angus Open Studios or the HAAR Arts Festival and sell nice pictures in frames for people to put on their walls.

In 1996 an art teacher at my school decided it would be a good idea to run a photography short course. I signed up straight away. Using potent chemicals in a blacked out room with only a red light to guide you - what's not to like?
Since then my pictures have featured in newspapers, magazines, internal reports, promotional material and websites. Past clients have included Angus Council, Volunteer Centre Angus and Jolly Good jewellery.
